i packed my dressing table, shopped for boxes, then took out everything from my study cupboard and threw them on the floor, and put everything back again..=.=
thought i lost my hcl olvl book- under normal circumstances i will not give a damn about it, but it is freakingly my holiday hoemwork and i found it last minute yesterday night so.. phew.

i went with my batch for a treetop trail which was
>10km long! i was dying.
good experience though.
last day of the term, last day of the semester,
time flies and i'm going to treasure it.
opportunity is here, i shall SPEND every single moment
PLAYING like nobody's business.
this is my life anyway.

feeling great
back from nyghopenhouse!
reached school at 7 in the morning,
and started digging holes and starting fire.
after teh whole activity ended..
when i was waiting for my bus, it started raining very heavily
and i waited for more than half an hour for my bus! =.=
the best part?
the feeling of sleeping on the nice comfortable bus
in such a nice rainy weather!
and the feeling of walking home, with your earpieces on,
and enjoying the cool breeze and nice atmosphere around you..
the feeling. of a saturday afternoon.

after watching huanzhugege, i was overwhelmed by the fact that it was a 1998 drama.
it brings back old memories, as i remember myself watching it as a 4, 5 years old kindergartener, reruns after reruns.
now that i'm 16, i couldnt help but be amazed by the feeling reminisces bring us.
but sometimes, you just dont want to acknowledge that you've grown older or, aged.
anyway, i'm sick. =(
started to sneeze mysteriously yesterday during recess
and it got worse when i got back home
i started having a sore throat and today,
when i woke up, it didnt got any better.
should i go to school tmr?

This is the first time I've been so INTO GE.
And this year's GE, is really a BIG hot issue
because more and more people are IN for the opposition
because they want more people to "represent their voices"
etc.
What I feel is that, there are always reasons for the government's decisions.
Are you trying to say that ERP, NS and GSTs dont help Singapore in any way?
These have to be in place for Singapore everything in Singapore to work better.
They ALREADY said, GST dont literally go into the "gahmen's" pocket.
They are for YOU to HELP the people with lower income.
Isnt that what you guys have been talking about?
Stop complaining,
and stop supporting the opposition just for the sake of it.
Results were out yesterday, and pap won with a slight margin of 60+%.
shows how tough a fight it was.
and Georgeyeo was voted out.
It was a huge loss for the people of Singapore.
I'm not sure what the opposition will bring for the people in the future,
and I hope they will not screw anything up.
As for the PAP, hope this year's results will be a wake up call for you guys
to serve Singapore better.

and saw how oppositions want to reduce NS serving time.
Now, if thats a tactic for getting more people to vote for you,
i think you better scrape that off NOW.
because it is an impractical idea. PERIOD.

i gotta feeling
have you ever felt this way before?
when you are walking home, and there's this music playing from afar...
it is definitely not a hit song, its like some oldies
it does not have any lyrics, nor can you figure out the title of the song.
but it gives you a sense of familiarity and you somehow enjoy it and..
wished that you could stand there forever
you were willing to slow down your pace just to experience it a little longer...
that happened to me just now.

Sesame oil is naturally antibacterial for common skin pathogens as well as common skin fungi.

The scenario is similar to that of a figure skater drawing her arms inward during a spin to turn faster on the ice. The closer the mass shift during an earthquake is to the equator, the more it will speed up the spinning Earth.
The earthquake also shifted Earth's figure axis by about 6 1/2 inches (17 centimeters), Gross added.
This isn't the first time a massive earthquake has changed the length of Earth's day. Major temblors have shortened day length in the past.
The 8.8-magnitude earthquake in Chile last year also sped up the planet's rotation and shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. The 9.1 Sumatra earthquake in 2004 shortened the day by 6.8 microseconds.

INLOVE
i'm in love
with the rain.
i like the prelude,
when the sky is dark and gloomy
when you can feel the windy breeze
bringing you to a state of slowness,
slowing down, enjoying every single bit of it.
then you are on the bus,
seeing the rain falling
the feeling is undescribable
but i am amazed by it
and comes the highlight
when you are walking under shelter but the rain keeps on coming to you
you somehow are willing to slow down your pace
and let it continue.
the process is enjoyable
like we are back into the days when we are still young and carefree
realise how often we say the word 'hate'
we should learn to love

because i have my own flaws too.
there's a reason why we are humans.
because we are not perfect.
however, we can strive to improve.
not intelligence wise, but character.
look at the world.
sars, bird flu, h1n1
north and south korea. taiwan and china.
and so much so much more!
not forgetting the environmental problems like global warming, pollution, depletion of natural resources.
can i trust that we, the new generation, find some ways to solve these existing problems?
while it may be true that we cannot stop diseases such as sars, h1n1, handfootmouth,
but we definitely can stop wars, conflicts, and other manmade disasters.
stop war. as there is no real winner after one. both sides are the losers.
they failed to understand this basic truth as human beings- love
look at the number of lives that had been sacrificed.
peace people, peace.
and there we are, worrying and fussing over 2012, alien invasions and other whatnots,
WHY DONT WE TAKE THE EFFORT AND TIME TO CARE FOR OUR EARTH?!

The United Nations has predicted the global population will reach seven billion this year, and climb to nine billion by 2050, "with almost all of the growth occurring in poor countries, particularly Africa and South Asia," said John Bongaarts of the non-profit Population Council.
To feed all those mouths, "we will need to produce as much food in the next 40 years as we have in the last 8,000," said Jason Clay of the World Wildlife Fund at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

People tend to move up the food chain as their incomes rise, consuming more meat than they might have when they made less money, the experts said.

there is a fly called time
dear time,
can you please stopp flyinnggggggggggg.
i have a suggestion:
fly faster when it is during school hours, but take a break after school ends and especially during weekends! grrr..
and dear self discipline.
please wake up tomorrow.
i need to start doing my homework
a typical day of a singapore student (, or at least me)
school day:
wakes up, look at teh clock, 540, great, i think i can still sleep for 3min, goes back to sleep.
wakes up, again. and find that it is 6!! and rushes to the toilet blahblahblah.
finally gets ready, and rushes down, decided to pack my breakfast as i'm getting late for school.
gulps down milo, wears socks, shoes, open door, rushes out, walk as if i'm flying,
cclimbs the overheadbridge, two steps at a time.
and wait for the 156 (a bus)
saw a 156, praying hard that it isnt crowded so that i can get on it,
then hopefully, get a seat so that i can catch some sleep.
during lessons, i pray harder for time to pass, that the lesson will end.
sometimes, i will unwillingly没办法地fall asleep. (for teachers who somehow are reading this, SORRRY!, I TRIED HARD NOT TO)
okay not sometimes, its a very rare happening!
and i hope that school will end.
and somehow, if i need not stayback after school, i will get inspirational
and decide to be a good student when i reach home and complete my homework etc.
AND SOMEHOW, i end up using the computer until it is like 9++
and then i will panick and start doing my homework.
*takes out everything thats in her bag*

"phy ws, yay no phy tmr"
"hah..chem arh. shit theres chem tmr.

Penguin in zoo strolls into lions' den
bite size news- from yahoo!
BERLIN - A resourceful baby penguin took advantage of Germany's wintry weather to give her minders the slip and embark on a tour of the zoo before waddling into the lions' den.
A visitor spotted the African penguin, born in September, taking a stroll in the lion enclosure but the animal was lucky as the lions were asleep inside rather than braving the icy weather outside, Muenster zoo said on its website.
It took keepers a day to get the penguin out of the den, luring her out with a trail of herrings, the statement said.
The escape gave the penguin, up to then only known as number 459, a name. Her minder now calls her Leona, the zoo said.

so results of my first try - 21.25min

i was telling mel that
how i wish indonesia generates more haze
(oops sorry. i know it isnt good for the environment)
and it spreads to singapore like the other time
when i was in primary school,
it got super hazy till its super bad for our health,
and here comes the main point,
WE WERE SPARED FROM SCHOOL.
mel said there were also holidays during SARS.
but no. haze is "better" because SARS is scary.
save the earth!
bring your own bag when you go shopping!
use less water!
reuse, reduce, recycle!
remember to separate papers and plastics from normal rubbish when you are throwing them into the bin!

holidays are ending=(
i like it when my table is messy.XDohno, holidays are ending!!!! =(

woke up early today.

then jiayu said we could go and sell uniforms for partime!
the only sad thing is that i have to be there by 7am =(
mum and dad just returned from malaysia and bought loads of food for me for lunch and dinnerXD
i love food.

REALITY
How do I summarize these 18 days?
It was long, yet short.
When I try to recall those days, it felt like so long ago, but at the same time, it felt so short.
One thing for sure, I know I miss those days.
I want to stay in Taiwan for a longer period of time.
Looking back, I am proud of myself for being independent, and never, not even once, thought of home. (ha)
Because I was so absorbed and so immersed in my friendships, and the life over there.
There are just so many things I cannot bear to let go.
Jiang jiang, all the shuaiges XD, FUDAN!, and the memories.
Whether it be the happy times, sad times, huachi times, crazy-and-high times.
When today arrived, I realized that I totally forgotten about my house. However, once the car reached my house, I felt that Taiwan was just a dream.
It really felt like a dream.
Because I thought I just left my home a moment ago, heading for the airport.
The only things that can remind me and prove to me that I was there in Taiwan for 18 days, are the souvenirs and evidences left on my laptop.
When i stood in front of my door, i was pulled back into reality. Back to Singapore, back to homework, back to cca, back to nanyang.
The eighteen days with my new friends, infatuations xD are now compressed and kept inside my brain, they became something known as memories.

到了新加坡，朋友都说新加坡很热，但是我说，那是家的感觉。
回到了新加坡，回到了现实，总不能逃避。明天还要去学校，日子还是要照样地过。天下无不散之筵席，人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全。
Anyway, things that happened in Taiwan?
1. I SPOTTED THE KO3ANGUO ACTORS IN THE AIRPORT! AND TOOK PHOTOS WITH THEM! And I was the one who bravely and courageously went ahead to ask them: 可以和你拍一张照吗？ Okay?! And it was after me, who 开the路for them, that everyone rushed ahead and took photos. So in the end, I managed to take one. And yupps.
2. made a lot of friends, and people often thought I was from modern dance/Chinese dance, but NO! I am from GUIDES! And one Japanese guy came up to me and asked: 日本人ですか。学校旅行ですね。何歳ですか。Lucky i got learn japanese beforeXD and ironically, I replied いいえ。(to the are you Japanese? Question) and some people thought I was taiwanese. But again, NO! I am a SINGAPOREAN.
3. went crazy with a lot of people esp nyssa low! Window shopping, show luo and stuffXD
4. stayed in 福容饭店 and 淡水亚太饭店
hotel was generally okay, and we ate their 早餐 with 早餐卷 kay. lame
they got 全家there! and furong has 7-11.
haha welcome to TAIWAN! (haiiz, back in singapore liao)
that’s all for the night, because I still have to unpack my luggage and admire my souvenirs, and see the reason why I went bankrupt. (I spent my TWD 11000 finish already) and get ready for tomorrow.
and anw, i dont believe this. but they said my luggage was 30kg.

so fast eh?! its day six already
and we have finished suibanshangke
I MISS THEM!
I MISS ALL MY TAIWAN BUDDIES =(
each and every single one of them...
(sorry i don't remember names, i remember only facesXD)
the lessons were fun and different
four days are really short,
and really like what qianyi said,
these four days were really filled with joy, laughter, precious friendship, and priceless memories that will forever stay with me, for my entire life..
hope they'll come to singapore next year!
performance was OKAY. i kinda screwed it up
but the ringdingdong group was sad
they danced really well yet
their music kenna some technical problem =(

ITS THE SECOND DAY ALREADY.
so first day:
-went to taiwan's ARCADE! and lost money
-went to seveneleven to buy slurpee for 65cents singapore dollars!
-bought shoelaces for 50cents sing each
-watched channel [v]hello baby and inkigayo

holidays are starting
exams over.
school over.
whats ahead is a beginning of omg-ful events
tough choices and wise decisions need to be made
why cant i live a simple life?
okay yeah its just me stressing myself
anyway, ALL THE BEST AND GOOD LUCK
to amelia, melissa they all, for their trip tomorrow!
they are setting off to beijing!
and one week later, exactly one week later,
at this time, i will be in taiwan!
i havent started packing my luggage,
but i think i've finished buying the stuff i need for my 18day taiwan school trip.
hope it will be fun and exciting.
i must give them a good impression of SINGapore!
really, singapore is one of the best places on earth!
just went to our girl guides initiative @ west coast park
we didnt did anything constructive/productive?
but at least we played monopoly deal and went to Mcs
i wanted fries but it was still "morning"
after that we went to DAISO with the help of NYSSA =)
*ps that was a special grinxd*
and bought presents AND OKAY

onething afteranother
finally farewell is over.
the atmosphere was kinda 冷掉
but we tried our best.
main thing is that we hope the seniors enjoyed our performance
and all the best to them
next thing.
haiiz. i dunno whether this is counted as
lucky or unlucky-- i am one of the two leaders/zuzhangs
for the GCP taiwan trip.
AND WE HAVE TO PLAN A PERFORMANCE.
and we planned. within ONE day of notice.
so, this is also to tell other groups/buses
we have chosen the following songs/ideas
-ooeeooahah (clapping routine)
-sing yongganxiangqianfei (chinese version of reach out for the skies)
-dance gee
the dancing of gee, is kindly "sponsored by" xuedi
from 310! who is the only dancer (i think) in our group
so it seems like all is "DONE"
BUT. we havent informed the members,
AND we don't even know the members?!
we left a message on the whiteboards of each class and
SINCERELY HOPE AND PRAY that they will see it and
come to my class tmr during recess.
hope no one pons.
that is my wish, and what i am worried about.
and if they pon, too bad. gonna punish them by asking tehm perform clown dance.
HAHA kidding, i dont even know what clown dance is.
so,
1- worry that people dont turn up for the briefing tmr
2- no one takes initiative during discussions tmr,
and when calling for people to choose group,
THEY STONE THERE.
so PLEASE,
I HOPE MY GROUPMATES ARE NICE PEOPLE!!!!!
YAY!
TO THE REST,
ALL THE BEST.
TMR IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY YOUR GCP
